where the world goes to discover craft spirits and the small batch lifestyle

A Whyte Laydie at Blue Canyon

Tuesday, March 5, 2013
Gin is blowing up. My personal experience with this particular spirit was limited to chugging some Beefeater out of the bottle as a youth, which led me to never try it again. However, as a significantly more mature partaker, with plenty of years behind me and a bottle of Montgomery Distillery's Whyte Laydie in front, I thought it high time to reacquaint myself with this classic clear spirit. And what better delivery vehicle than a martini, albeit on the rocks.
