Catocin Creek - Grand Opening

Friday, August 23, 2013
Catoctin Creek Distillery announces the Grand Opening weekend of their new distillery and tasting room at 120 West Main Street in Old Town Purcellville. The distillery will celebrate its grand opening with a weekend of specials and festivities starting Friday, August 23rd and going through Sunday. Patrons will enjoy the opportunity to tour, taste, and purchase bottles of the spirits from the new store.

"On Friday, we celebrate the opening of our new distillery with tastings, tours and 15% off all non-alcohol merchandise," said Scott Harris, owner of the distillery. "On Saturday, Eric Buckland, author of the Mosby Men series and Mosby's Keydet Rangers, will be on hand in period dress to sign and sell his books. We are also very happy to have Andrew McKnight and Beyond Borders, who will begin playing a free concert from 6pm until close on Saturday night. And on Sunday, Laissez Foure, a popular jazz swing band from Washington DC will play from 3pm until close."

Catoctin Creek Distillery recently moved its operations from the industrial park on Richardson Lane, to the historic Case Building in downtown Purcellville. The building underwent a $500,000 renovation and historical preservation, and the distillery is now in full operation in its new location.
