Red, White and Bluecoat July 4th Pignic at The Gin Joint

Friday, June 27, 2014
The Gin Joint at New Heights celebrates Independence Day 2014 with a freebie “Red, White and Blue Coat July 4th Pignic,” a cheeky roast of patriotic food and drink between 4 PM and 9 PM, Friday, July 4th.

Braised suckling pig croquettes headline a parade of complementary hors d’oeuvres ahead of Dijonnaise shrimp corndogs, a medley of raw, fried and grilled oysters and oyster mushrooms on-the-half-shell, and mini pies of cherry, blueberry, and vanilla cream fillings. No charge too for a swig from any one of three pitchers: The Red Coat Pitcher or the White Coat Pitcher or the Blue Coat Pitcher, each made with Philadelphia’s own Bluecoat American Dry Gin garnished with crimson stanchions of watermelon. Call this “free-dom” fare.

Again, the freebie “Red, White and Blue Coat July 4th Pignic” promotion runs at The Gin Joint at New Heights Restaurant between 4 PM and 9 PM, Friday, July 4th.

Have a festive, safe and responsible 4th of July and spend a part of your Independence Day with us,

Kavita and Umbi
